The graduate of the Economics and Management study field is equipped with knowledge and skills enabling the effective performance of Top managers in various sectors of the economy.

The study field emphasizes not only the acquisition of theoretical knowledge but also the ability to work independently with professionalism and data sources, the ability to deduce and formulate their conclusions and opinions, the application of theoretical knowledge in solving individual tasks, and the ability to generalize knowledge based on working with case studies. Specifically, the graduate is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and methodological competencies in management and control, economics, marketing, project management, and strategic management.

Overview

DSc. study program graduates obtain diploma conferred by the Akademia Jagiellońska w Toruniu, Faculty of Administration and Economic Studies in Uherske Hradiste with reference to relevant field(s) of study. Graduate is entitled to use professional qualification Doctor of Science (DSc.). Together with the Diploma, Diploma supplement will be conferred, which recognizes field(s) of study of the study program, undertaken study modules, DSc. thesis title and name of the supervisor.

Doctor of Science (DSc.) is international managerial study program, which is not included into tertiary education system of individual countries. We provide our LL.M. study program with respect to the status of a foreign tertiary education institution subsidiary and is internationally acknowledged.

Doctor of Science (DSc.) Degree is accredited by the American Association of Higher Education Accreditation.

Graduation

To complete the Economics and Management study field, the student fulfills the study obligations in accordance with the Methodical Instruction for Study:

Elaboration and defense of the final DSc. Thesis, the topic is chosen by the student in accordance with the field of study. The chosen topic of the Thesis is approved by the Faculty, and with regard to the selected topic, the student is assigned a supervisor/consultant among associate professors and professors working at the Faculty.

Completion of subject "Economic and Management" which is a core subject of Doctor of Science (DSc.) program.

Personal data are processed by the Faculty transparently, fairly and reasonably exclusively for the purpose of recording students at the Faculty, the proper performance of educational activities provided by the Faculty, monitoring the proper performance of student obligations and fulfilling the legal obligations of the Faculty.

The Faculty stores and processes the obtained personal data of students securely and has taken precautions to protect personal data against its loss, misuse or unauthorized changes. Faculty staff have been adequately trained and their obligations regarding the personal data of students continue even after the termination of employment or other termination of cooperation.

Students have the right to access the personal data maintained about them. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, students have the right to its rectification, the right to request an explanation and, if necessary, the removal of any defective condition.
